November 14, 2018 Medical Director of Angioline LLC Oleg Volkov took part as a speaker at the International Forum "Clinical Research in Russia". This annual conference is today the leading platform for the exchange of knowledge and business communication between all parties involved in the organization and conduct of clinical research in Russia. More than 150 participants representing the widest range of industries in Russia and abroad, were able to meet with colleagues and discuss the main challenges faced by companies organizing and conducting clinical research. As speakers, about 40 experts were invited, representing both government regulatory bodies (Roszdravnadzor) and major players in the clinical research market in Russia. The forum program was filled with interactive formats, panel discussions, debates, live interviews, plenary and parallel sessions, rich original points of view and innovative Dr. Volkov took part with the report “Features of clinical studies of coronary stents and forming an evidence base for their use in the Russian Federation” in a session on clinical trials of medical devices, at which changes in legislation on planning and conducting clinical research in this area were discussed.
