Angioline company took part in the meeting held by minpromtorg of rf on supporting measures for localization of medical device manufacture on april 3, 2017

ANGIOLINE Company took part in the Meeting held by S.A. Tsyba, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of RF on April 3, 2017.  The Company was represented by Natalya Lebedeva, Board Director, and Oleg Volkov, Medical Director of ANGIOLINE, JSC. The industrial sector was also represented by the delegates from Penza Research and Development Enterprise MedInzh, CJSC, and STENTEX, LLC who is planning localization of stent manufacturing in Russia under the license of the international manufacturer Medtronic, as well as RENOVA Group and the Trading House of MEDPOLYMERPROM, LLC.

The event was aimed at preparing for the Meeting with D. Medvedev, the Chairman of Government of RF, on measures taken to support localization of medical device manufacture.
As one of the measures of supporting Russian manufacturers, the Ministry suggested the market participants to discuss alterations to the Decree of the Government of RF No.102 on Limitation of Access to Certain Types of Medical Devices Originating from Foreign Countries for the Purposes of Procurement for State and Municipal Needs, more known as the ‘odd man out’.
ANGIOLINE Company appreciates the Government’s desire to support domestic manufacturers, however, it is considered that the key measure will be an equal access to the Russian market of medical devices for all manufacturers.
